Twenty-three-year-old Romane Deenwell otherwise called ‘Chineyman’ a farmer of Donegal District, Brighton in St. Elizabeth has been charged with the Murder of 22-year-old Onandy Bell otherwise called ‘Nanday’, a labourer of Compton, New Market, St. Elizabeth within his community on Wednesday, April 17.

Reports from the Black River Police are that about 10:00 a.m., Bell was on a construction site when an altercation developed between him and Deenwell. During which Deenwell used a knife to stab Bell several times. Bell sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Deenwell was subsequently arrested and charged on Thursday, April 25. His court date is being arranged.
